We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to fuel our AWS infrastructure migration, responsibilities will include adding improvements to the infrastructure, deployment processes, and security as we scale our product suite. This opportunity is ideal for someone that enjoys working with a small team in a highly collaborative full-stack environment. The DevOps Engineer should have strong communication skills, be detail oriented, and able to present  ideas and solutions effectively.   • Master the infrastructure architecture, permissions, roles, access, workflows, etc.
  • Find the best migration strategy that will balance availability with data integrity.
  • Lead the migration process and collaborate very closely with the backend engineers.
  • Follow-up with designing, implementing and managing a suite of stress tests for the new architecture: load, availability, replication, auto-healing, etc.
  • Design and manage server and app alerts using AppDynamic.
  • Update and manage the documentation
  • Lead the creation of a cloud NoC for effective crisis management.
  • Work with the engineers to optimize the release process spanning multiple environments and groups.
  • Lead the technical phase of onboarding & offboarding of Fuel Cycle clients


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps and AWS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team.
  • Must have experience with IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SES/SNS/SQS, Route 53, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, Linux
  • Familiarity with AppDynamics, JIRA, Java desired
